Day 1: Touch down at Bangkok airport, where you’ll be warmly greeted by our local representative before being whisked off to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore the city’s vibrant streets.

Day 2: Kick off day two with the mesmerising chants of monks at Wat Pho, home to the 45-metre-long Reclining Buddha. Next, explore the iconic Grand Palace, with its dazzling temples and the revered Emerald Buddha. After lunch, hop on a traditional long-tail boat for a cruise along Bangkok’s serene canals. Spot stilted houses and watch life unfold along the waterways.

Spend the afternoon wandering through Chinatown’s bustling alleys, where you’ll discover hidden markets, Taoist temples, and quirky tea shops. Kids will love the colourful stalls and unusual trinkets! (B/L)

Day 3: Fly to Chiang Mai, the “Rose of the North.” After settling into your hotel, enjoy a lively evening exploring the city’s street food markets. Sample local delicacies like pad Thai, sticky rice with mango, and Thai coconut pudding, guided by tantalising aromas and your host’s expert tips. Day 4: On day four you’ll visit the Chang Chill Elephant Sanctuary to learn about their “no-touch” conservation philosophy. Observe the elephants in their natural habitat, prepare their food, and learn about the mahout’s role in Thai culture. After lunch, visit the Karen Cultural Centre to try your hand at traditional weaving and hear stories about the local community’s way of life. Kids will love seeing their creations take shape! Return to your hotel by evening, with free time to explore the lively Night Market. (B/L)

Day 5: Prepare for a thrilling day of white-water rafting on the Mae Tang River, where you’ll navigate exhilarating rapids. After a well-earned lunch, head into the treetops for a ziplining adventure. Fly between platforms on over 20 lines, including one a kilometre long! Day 6: Fly to Phuket and head straight to Khao Sok National Park, where your family will stay in an enchanting treehouse. Unwind with a traditional Thai massage before enjoying a delicious dinner surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle. (B/D)

Day 7: Today you’ll have the chance to choose your morning activity:

  • Canoe trip: drift down the Sok River, spotting monkeys and colourful birds.
  • Tubing (June–Oct): float along the river, with rope swings for added fun.
  • Cave & raft trek: a scenic hike to explore a serene cave, followed by a peaceful bamboo raft ride.

In the evening, enjoy a jungle cooking class, learning to make dishes like green curry and pancakes using bamboo. Later, you’ll embark on a night safari to spot nocturnal wildlife. (B/D)

Day 8: Journey to Cheow Lan Lake and hike through pristine rainforest with a local guide. After a home-cooked lunch, you’ll cruise across the lake’s emerald waters to your floating bungalow.
