Coffee and Community

Experience a day in the life of coffee producers and their families in San Ramon Community. On arrival into the community you will start by having a traditional Nicaraguan lunch, followed by some time to meet the family that will be hosting you in their home.

You can’t sit around all day unfortunately as the community have different activities that you can take part in and experience. You can take a coffee farm tour, have a guided forest hike, traditional gold mine visit or a walk though the agroecological gardens that the community have developed. After any one of these activities you will take part in a tortilla workshop before a very well deserved dinner. In the evening you will have a chat with the locals over a delicious cup of local coffee where they will tell you all about their cooperative and answer any questions you may have for them.
