Why we work with them

El Porvenir is a working ranch that is dedicated to sustainable agriculture and cattle farming, conservation, and eco-tourism. The hacienda produces milk, cheese vegetables that is used by the haciend at meal times.
The lodge has been active since 1992 in the preservation of both their cultural and natural environments, through a partnership with Fundación Páramo, a non-profit organization that protects over 75,000 hectares (185.329 acres) of private land in the territory adjacent to Cotopaxi National Park. They have conservation programs running permanently throughout the year and through innovative itineraries you can get involved in these durinig your stay. These programs are sensitive to local needs and provide support and jobs for the community, NGO’s and the National Park.
