Somoto Canyoning

The adventure starts with rappelling down a 100 foot cliff wall while admiring the amazing view of the canyon beneath you. Once in the belly of the canyon you will swim hike and climb through this section of the longest river in Central America. Throughout the route there are places where you can either jump off the canyon walls into the river form heights ranging from 1.5 to 20 meters high or your guide can how you alternative routes that keep your feet firmly on solid ground.

After you have thoroughly explored the canyon you will make your way back to the surface and continue on to your nearby campsite. This site is located on a beautiful farm with a views looking out over the landscape of Honduras and perfectly placed to catch both the sunset and sunrise the next morning. After you epic adventure you will be sure to have worked up quite the appetite which is lucky as you will have a local chef make you a delicious dinner to be eaten by the campfire. The next morning the same local chef will prepare an energizing breakfast in order for you to continue your journey through this captivating country.
