2-Day Wildlife Experience

Dive into Thailand’s rich wildlife and cultural heritage on this two-day journey to Kui Buri National Park and the charming beach town of Hua Hin. This experience blends ethical wildlife encounters, sustainable community activities, and a chance to witness wild elephants in their natural habitat, offering an unforgettable glimpse into Thailand’s diverse ecosystem and traditions.

Day 1:

You’ll depart from your Bangkok hotel in the morning, travelling to Hua Hin, a beloved seaside destination. Along the way, stop at the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) at 10:00 for a half-day wildlife program. WFFT is a leading conservation organisation dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating neglected wildlife. During your visit, you’ll learn about their work and meet animals such as elephants in a cruelty-free and ethical environment. Enjoy lunch at the centre before continuing to your accommodation in Kui Buri or Hua Hin, where dinner awaits.

Day 2

After breakfast, visit Kui Buri’s local community to engage in sustainable activities. Watch demonstrations of pineapple paper-making, rubber tapping, and fertiliser production, or try your hand at crafting wooden products. Tour the village on foot or by farmer truck, gaining insight into rural life and traditional crafts.

Savour a locally-prepared lunch before heading to Kui Buri National Park around 14:00 for an authentic wildlife experience. Renowned as the best place in Thailand to see wild elephants and gaurs (wild cattle), the park offers a rare chance to observe these majestic animals in their natural environment. Watch herds roam freely, living undisturbed in the lush forest - a truly awe-inspiring sight.

Your Local Impact

This trip is designed to benefit local communities and promote eco-friendly practices. Lunch is provided in the village, directly supporting the local economy. Guests can engage in fun and sustainable activities, such as creating paper from pineapple, which minimises waste and protects biodiversity. Opportunities to purchase locally crafted goods further contribute to community livelihoods.

Each booking donates THB 100 to the Local Farmer Foundation, reinforcing efforts to support sustainable farming. Local guides lead the tours, ensuring cultural authenticity and providing economic opportunities.

In Kui Buri National Park, the experience is elevated by using a local 4WD truck operated by the Kuiburi Wildlife Ecotourism Club. Wildlife observation is conducted responsibly in the afternoon, the animals' most active time, ensuring a respectful distance to avoid disturbance. This balance of adventure and conservation enriches the experience while safeguarding the environment.
